How do they work?

Well this is the trick that no other company that resembles a Meegs in their product line has been able to master. The Meegs lure is not a magic lure. It takes pratice to master the action of the lure. They are not jigged up and down per-say. Moreso in a slow baitfish movement. The head of the Meegs is perfectly balanced so when you twitch the rod just slightly in an upward - downward motion the Meegs looks exactly like a baitfish feeding off the bottom or off the weeds. The hook on the Meegs bends upwards rather than downwards. This helps avoid snags off the bottom or picking up the dreaded zebra mussels.
